Students Pass Next Gen NCLEX
Getting prepared to tutor these students was no easy task. I (Justine) had to update all of the sets of practice questions we do with our students. I added the new NGN items: case studies and stand alones to each set of questions. Plus we have 3 readiness tests which also needed the new NGN items. Then once the new NGN items are written they are reviewed by our tutors. Specifically Alida and Beth E. went meticulously through each question advising me of any changes. NCLEX Nursing Nugget Pages 2nd Edition Published
In March of 2023, the 2nd edition of the NCLEX Nursing Nugget Pages® were published in order to reflect content that would be covered for the Next Gen NCLEX. Not a whole lot changed with the content, but updates were needed. Specifically, I added the sign and symptom data to all of the conditions that are “immediate complications”. It’s nicely presented in one list so you’ll be able to recognize immediately when your client is critical. There were also about 30 new images added, without changing the number of pages of the book.
Brainscape Flashcards Updated
The NCLEX brainscape flashcards are basically the Nugget Pages in flashcard form. About 80 new images were added, but the number of cards stayed about the same. Test yourself with these online flashcards!
