I was a multiple attempt test taker before reaching out to Justine. With the help of Justine and another tutor named Brian, I was able to pass the NCLEX in just 85 questions. Before our sessions together I was unfamiliar with good test taking strategies. Justine and Brian were able to pass on an arsenal of strategies that helped me make connections and easily eliminate questions I wouldn’t have before. These strategies coupled with being held accountable in tutoring sessions is exactly what I needed to pass the NCLEX. Also, the Nuggets Book that Justine recommends is very streamline with great mnemonics I had never heard. This really helped in areas I struggled with such as vaccination schedules and precautions.

I began working with the NCLEX Tutor during the summer before my final semester. I was struggling with Hesi and NGN and knew I needed help. Despite being a B+ student with generally good grades, my highest Hesi score was only 840. I lacked confidence that I would pass the NCLEX.

The first time I took the NCLEX I did not pass. I was not feeling confident at all my second time around, especially with my study habits. I knew I needed to change the way I studied but I didn’t know how.

Thankfully I found Justines tutoring. Justine kept me on a schedule that forced me to sit down and do the work. Im the type of person who thrives with a schedule so this helped me a lot. I’m a repeat NCLEX test taker! What I did different the 2 nd time around, I came across a YouTube video of a someone talking about the “Nuggets Pages” and they were talking about how it was well written and well put together. Well, I bought it! It made everything make since.

I was all over the place with NCLEX buy this and that. The Nugget Pages caught my eye and when it arrived, I looked through it and loved how well the content was straight to the point and looking at the pictures and charts. I did do a review with another company and a Qbank as well. I was still missing something. I even tutored with other companies, and they just were in it for the money.

Long story short. I was really amazed at how much I did not know or remember with the test that is given by Justine! You would be surprised at yourself. So, I saw that this company offered tutoring and I saw a lady who went to the same University as myself and I knew I was on the right path. I signed up and asked for her to be my tutor. I got a call and we set up our first meeting and I loved it.

Jennifer and Justine are both awesome, I wished I would have known about this while in school this would have been very beneficial to me and saved me a lot of hours and sleepless nights. The Nuggets Pages accompanied with a tutor “game changer”. My tutoring was really customized to fit me! Content was my problem. Once I got my plan, I dedicated my time to my plan and stuck with it.

I met with my tutor Jennifer as the plan instructed and I was breaking down questions using the strategies given to me. Most importantly I really understood now what the question was asking. I went all the way back to the beginning “the basics” and worked my way up bridging the gap of lost content.

My name is Rylee and I graduated in May of 2021 with my Bachelors in Nursing. I have never been a good test taker which has broken my confidence from the start of nursing school. My name is Cam and I graduated in December 2021 from an accelerated nursing program with my BSN. I didn’t pass my NCLEX twice before going to see Justine. I was so frustrated and unsure what I was doing wrong. I felt discouraged after the endless amount of practice questions I was doing and content videos I was watching. 

I went to her website to figure out what the issues were and developed test taking strategies that allowed me to think and approach the NCLEX questions like I never have before. I purchased the nugget pages book and got started tutoring with Lindsey. We were able to come up with a study plan so I could retake the exam and pass my third time so I can start my job on time. I just passed my NCLEX on my 3rd attempt and Justine is the one who got me there!  As I was taking my NCLEX and I was going through each questions I felt so calm and confident because of Justine. I remember at questions 75 I was about the press next and I had this gut feeling that I had already passed and it would shut off because I really used her strategies combined with all the content I went over. And then I pressed next and my test shut off, it was such a great feeling. Even though I didn’t get my result at that point I already knew I had passed and I was right, I did! 

The first time I took the NCLEX i used a different online tutoring company and I was a little disappointed with what I was paying for, but I didn’t know any better. After using The NCLEX Tutor I know that the other tutor was a complete waste of time and money. The other 2 times I took the NCLEX I  studied and did practice questions but the difference between the first 2 times and 3rd time I took it is that I did not have the strategies that Justine teaches and engrains in you. Her strategies just make sense and the more you do questions using her strategies the easier the questions become. She is so knowledgable in nursing information and specifically in NCLEX content. Justine motivates you and works with you. Her nugget pages are priceless, they are straight forward and thorough without being overwhelming, I loved using them to study. 

Each session Justine gives you her undivided attention, whether she is doing questions with you, reviewing specific content, or creating a study plan. While working with Justine I felt that she really cared about me and wanted me to do well. One thing that stands out to me about Justine over other tutors is that she never ended the sessions abruptly when our time was up, she would always give me an extra few minutes and never rushed me when we would come up with a plan till our next session.

There are no words to describe how forever grateful I will be to The NCLEX tutor.

I graduated nursing school a year ago, and personally I knew my school did not prepare me well enough to take my NCLEX so I knew this was going to be challenging, but not that challenging.

After graduation, I enrolled in Kaplan’s virtual class. Therefore, I did three full days of online review which was helpful, it taught me what they call the “Decision Tree”. So, I studied that for a few weeks or so and did some questions then took the test. I got all 145 questions, it was difficult but I thought I got all the questions so I have a chance. I was wrong, and devastated it took a full week to recover mentally and emotionally to start the whole roller coaster over again.

My second attempt, I had bought UWorld and Archer Review. Taking notes and making flashcards, and studying then studying some more. I even did a few days crash studying with a friend who already passed the NCLEX. I really thought I had it this time, I was so confident. I understood the main components/ideas for each disease or disorder, meds, how things worked together in the body and what affect they had when things changed. I understood both the big and small pictures of all different systems. However, another fail at 145 questions.

I literally did not know where to turn, and I mean I had no idea. The only thing I could think of was private tutoring. I had done the private class tutoring and that didn’t work so I was like I need one-on-one. I don’t care the cost, I just need someone to help me figure out why I am not passing this test when I understand the information. So, I headed to google, the first group I came upon was EZ NCLEX Tutoring they got in contact with me right away through chat, and said they had an immediate opening. However, I decided to keep looking and the next group

I came upon was The NCLEX Tutor. It seemed like a great little company and a decent amount of reviews. So, I was like okay The NCLEX Tutor it is; however, there was a waitlist. So, I put my name down, all I had to do was wait. But I was desperate to pass my NCLEX, so I was like I can’t wait so I signed up with EZ NCLEX Tutoring. Let me tell you BIG SCAM!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE NEVER GO TO THEM!!!!

After 8 weeks of being scammed and my confidence draining, I heard back from The NCLEX Tutor founder, Justine. She called and talked to me for a half hour about what I had done, and really just let me vent. She suggested I go session by session, and see how things go and I could always add more with my same original price.

Justine assigned me a tutor, Lindsey she was new but Justine had great confidence in her. My first session I had both Justine and Lindsey in the session we went over questions by question, and they said you can totally do this we just need to work on a few things. Every session I felt more confident. Lindsey was so patient with me, and answered every question I would have she would give me suggestions on what to review and how to answer all types of questions. Justine’s tips on answering questions are amazing, and Lindsey taught me how to apply and use every tip. Justine’s nugget pages is the best review book, it is so organized and full of all the minimum information you need to know for the NCLEX. It has tips, tricks, pneumonics, and lots of pictures for visual learners.

Justine also has study plans and outlines for you to follow if needed that to correlate to her nugget pages. I found that so helpful when tutoring with Lindsey we would figure out what subjects to study together for the week, and also what nugget pages to study if I had trouble with a certain NCLEX subject such as Basic Care and Comfort. Justine also created voice over videos of her nugget pages, which allowed you to listen and read anytime you wanted.

Along with Justine’s program you get a three-month free access to Brainscape flashcards, another aspect I loved of her program. These flashcards included what I felt like everything from every single nugget page. I rewrote all her flashcards…. Over 3,000 and reviewed them which I found extremely helpful, the concepts just ended up sticking with me easier that way.

My tutor Lindsey, was incredible she would answer any question I had good or bad. She really became the person I relied on for confidence and knowledge all things NCLEX. I came out of ever session feeling better, even my parents could tell the difference in me after every session. During my time tutoring with Lindsey, I lost my grandpa and that really took a toll on me and Lindsey was so supportive and was very blunt with saying we need to push your date back a week or two. She could tell just over Zoom how I needed that extra time, how stressed and overwhelmed I was but she was always thinking what was best for me to accomplish my goal.

Lindsey and Justine were ALWAYS in constant contact with each other to personalize your tutoring needs and to keep assessing your needs. Lindsey really went above and beyond to be there for me when I needed her the most. I really appreciated this because towards the end, I was unsure if I was ready and I knew I couldn’t go through not passing again. But Lindsey would reassure me that Justine and her thought I was ready. And they were right, I passed at 145 questions!! I was so thrilled and ecstatic, I was finally a nurse, and I really couldn’t have done it without finding The NCLEX tutor.

Essentially, Justine has really just thought out this whole program on what will make it easiest for her students and her tutors to accomplish the end goal of passing the NCLEX. Throughout this program, you feel a real sense of family standing with you through the process wanting you to succeed and cheering you on. I will forever be grateful for what the NCLEX program, Justine, and Lindsey did for me, they are truly the reason I passed my NCLEX.

My name is Wendy and I graduated with my Bachelors of Nursing in 2020.  I have been working as a RPN for 7 years prior to writing my exam but for some reason I struggles to pass the NCLEX.

WOAH!! 

That is the first thought that comes to mind when I think about Justine! She is absolutely amazing!!! She truly cares and attempts to get to know you during your tutoring session. I already have severe test anxiety and add taking NCLEX to that mix, I was stressed beyond belief. I can’t even remember all the different types of NCLEX books, classes, study guides, and test-taking strategies books and classes I invested in to attempt to pass. I had already missed out on a job opportunity and was not allowed to continue my RN to BSN program until I passed boards. To say I was stressed and had so much carrying on this test, is putting it lightly. Then I found Justine!!!

At first I did the webinars, thinking that this would be like the other NCLEX test strategy classes I had already attempted. BOY WAS I WRONG!! 

From the very first webinar, I knew I had wasted all my time and spent so much money on the other things I had tried. 

I found Justin’s webinars just in time. I was coming down from using another program that I found very hard & challenging. It made me doubt not only if I knew my content, but also myself as a student and as I nurse. I had taken repeated CATs on this program all saying I would fail the NCLEX. I took some time to have a pity party for myself. I was going on 3 months of graduating and seeing all my friends and classmates pass, while I was over here with the probability of failing. 

Finding Justine was a complete Godsend! The webinars, which I watched later since I work nights, helped me to see how and why I was answering questions wrong. I was also going over the nugget book, which helped me to fill in missing content. 

My NCLEX was scheduled for the end of January, right before a Bachelorette weekend with my friends so I could either drown my sorrows or celebrate. The webinars ended at the end of November. I attempted to continue going over the nugget book and answer questions from my test bank on Board Vitals, but I noticed I was going back to my old habits of answering questions. I knew this would not work for me. So I reached out to Justine for tutoring at the beginning of January. She was amazing and with only a few weeks until my test, she worked with my crazy night schedule to met with me 1 or 2 times a week. 

I really appreciated how she always helped to make me feel confident about myself. She never made me feel ashamed for missing questions or when I was going over why I picked the answer I did. She always gave me pointers and ended each tutoring session with positives that I did and things I needed to work on. 

I remember my last tutoring session, it was a few days before my test. I wanted 1 more session and Justine kept reassuring me that I would do fine and it would all be great. She had no doubt that I would pass and her confidence in me helped me so much! 

She was the 2nd person I text, right after my mom of course, with my good news. There really are not enough words to begin to explain how amazing Justine is. I am forever grateful to her that I can finally say I am an RN!

After hearing about everyone in my graduating nursing class pass the NCLEX on their first attempts, I thought for sure I would also pass. Unfortunately, that is not what happened.

I looked into different tutors (varsity, ez tutors), different question banks (Kaplan, uworld) , hard copy review books for content (saunders, hurst), anything I could think of to help me pass this exam. Nothing seemed to work. After taking all 145 questions on the exam three times, I felt lost and confused about why I could not pass this exam after being so close and still failing every time. I wanted to give up. I was beginning to lose hope of passing so I didn’t know why I should keep trying.

But then I found Justine, who to my surprise was the only thing I actually needed to succeed. She worked with me 1:1 for 14 one hour sessions via zoom. She made me read questions out loud so she could understand the way my brain works and individualize a study plan that best suited me, unlike the other tutoring platforms I tried that were generalized. She provided me with practice questions, covering every NCLEX topic as well as feedback to why certain answers were correct over others I may have chosen, taking the time to explain it to make sure I understood. She took the time to understand me and the way I learn and process information so I could retain the information and actually apply it. Most importantly, she taught me test taking strategies!

My biggest problem was not being able to identify how to properly answer the question based on the way NCLEX wants you to think. After learning and applying the strategies, I was able to get above a 70% on all 4 practice exams I took before my fourth NCLEX attempt (keep in mind before working with Justine, I was barely getting consistent 50% on practice tests). I also did review on my own with Nursing.com question bank to keep practicing and applying the strategies, which was helpful in increasing my test taking confidence and reducing my anxiety.

Thanks to Justine I was able to finally pass the NCLEX on my fourth attempt in 89 questions! I am forever thankful to Justine for taking the time to work with me and cater to my individual needs. She literally is the best at this! – Ashley

I greatly enjoyed the service I experienced with The NCLEX Tutor. The nugget pages are very bite size and was enough to use in a sustainable way along with other question bank services (in my case UWorld). Beth and Justine are the two best things that have happened to me, and I cannot thank them enough for giving me their precious time to help me though the process. I completed my education here in the US, but English is my second language and Beth was patient with me and teaching me to slow down especially when I make reading errors. 

The day of the test, I was well rested, took 4 long breaks, and did not rush myself at all. It took me a little over 2 hours to complete the exam and passed in 75 questions. The not panicking when I saw similar questions, and I wrote down the test taking strategies down on the side and I went though 4 whiteboards. I feel very fortunate that I was able to find them and get the help that I needed. Now I am in a DNP program and I will continue to use the test taking strategies for all my tests moving forward.

Thank you so much for helping me pass my RN NCLEX  it as been a long journey for me.Thank you for coming out with the nugget book .

My journey started since I finish school in 2015 yes 2015 and I pass December 6,2021 from the University of District of Columbia. 

First of all please never be discourage never give up on your dream. 

Trust me someone who took the Board Exam 13 times yes i send it and I am not going to hide and try to cover it up. I have use Kaplan, i have use U World over 5 times and it came up fail fail.

Lord what am I doing wrong I am missing something i really  am,i did a review class in my area Maryland it’s call Bola review I read did questions  still fail.

I did review for NCLEX HOSPITAL with DR Julius in Greenbelt Maryland study again  fail.

I drive to Ohio Dayton  to see mark klimick yes I read the yellow book and blue book still came up fail.

I must be the dummest person on this earth all my friends pass me by with there life and new degrees  MSN,DNP.

CRAZY and I am stuck  I start praying I start asking the Lord why why.

I got a private tutoring  wazynet did U World fail

Did RN mastery App Still fail Near Pass Near  Pass I am sick of it.

I turn to Remer listen to her lecture her audio mark her husband prayed  still fail.

Something is not adding up not at all went to see Mark Klimick again this time he was hear at University of Maryland  stay at the library  from morning until Its time for me to go to work.

Still fail I love reading people testimony  and I use to cry reading them and prayed one day I will  tell my own testimony one day I am going to see PASS NOT FAIL.

I think I need to go back to school is it  something I  miss because this is the hardest thing I have ever done.

Got a another tutor Happy Nclex still fail.

Got Flex for NCLEX still fail I did not let anyone know because I felt so embarrasse and one day my daughter said mommy you fail your test again I was devastated. I did Archer Review with Morgan .

I spent a lots of money broke as he’ll living pay check to pay check but the devil is not going to win.

I was scrolling through  face book and I saw Justine Buick  I reach out to her she was full.

Then she reach out to me I drop on it because the devil is a liar I never going to give up.

I did 10 session sometimes I did not want to do it because I feel dumb  but I still did what she told me to do reading her book and meeting every week trough zoom and doing Brainscspe.

Make a long story short who ever out do not give up on your dreams make sacrifices cut out partying going out Facebook make sacrifice talk to the Lord more Pray more 

Because he do answer prayer  you have to put in the work and he will meet you half way trust me.

I tried various different study resources and none of them seemed to work for me. I am so glad that I chose to work with Justine. She is the best, hands down! I have always struggled with standardized testing, and Justine’s test-taking strategies were exactly what I needed. I want to say a big thank you to Justine for her support towards my passing of the nclex-RN exam.

 As an Internationally educated Nurse, I was lost in my nclex preparations. I tried to study on my own using Uworld, Hurst and Saunders and failed the Nclex on first try. I really needed help and reached out to a few friends to see if they could point me to some online resources and tutorials. Although the suggestions were helpful, none of them was able to meet my need. I continued my search online and that is where I found Justine. After my first conversation with her, I knew she was the one I have been looking for some time and so decided to go ahead with her tutorials.

Justine gave me the confidence and the knowledge I needed to write this exam. Since I had my nursing education in Africa with a different health context, it was difficult for me to tackle some of the questions. Justine taught me the strategies needed in solving questions. I took the nclex twice and was feeling hopeless and stuck,I felt there was no way out.  So I decided to find a tutor. I found Justine website and read her reviews so I decided to try and say why not I tried everything else.

After talking to Justine and having the first session with her. I saw what I was doing wrong Justine helped me with not just knowing the content but how to apply what I know as well. Justine showed me that you don’t need to know everything to pass nclex. Her strategies of linking answers and looking for the killer answer for who do see first question and priority questions.  helped me so much when I was stuck. I recommend at least read the green boxes in the Saunders if you are pressed for time. I used saunders and the nclex mastery app. Remember content with strategy is key after sessions with Justine I felt confident with her content and strategies and understood how to approach nclex style questions.

Justine, Thank you so much for helping me PASS THE NCLEX! You gave me the confidence I needed to PASS NCLEX the 4^th and final time! 

After failing NCLEX  three times, feeling like no resource I used would help me (Uworld & Kaplan) and just overall feeling defeated– I knew I had to do something different about my studying the 4^th time around. I went online and started searching for tutors. I was hesitant, because I’ve never worked with a tutor in my life and was worried that it wouldn’t work out especially since it was on zoom, but after reading her awesome reviews by previous students, I knew she was the ANSWER. I was so excited!

While tutoring with Justine, I also used the NCSBN 7 week study plan (I totally recommend it & would recommend the 10 week study plan) to review content for the NCLEX. I also bought her Nugget Pages, its like a mini book of everything you need to know for NCLEX. For about two months, I put myself on a strict study schedule, with minimal distractions and met with Justine at least once a week. I booked 8 sessions with Justine, but I would highly recommend buying at least 10 sessions with her to really build the confidence and practice answering questions using the strategies that she teaches you.. The first time I took the NCLEX I failed in 60 questions. I was devastated. I had used every resource possible for my first attempt and anything recommended by my friends. I had too many resources. I spent months trying to figure out a solution or what I was going to do to pass this test.

“I graduated nursing school in May and was eager to take the NCLEX soon after. Being that I was pregnant and expecting the baby’s arrival in August, I was in a hurry to get the exam over with. Although I had done well in nursing school and had taken several review courses, I was not confident enough that I would pass the NCLEX on the first try. While talking to a friend she mentioned Justine Buick had helped her after she had failed on her first try. I figured i would try reaching out and hoped for the best. Justine is the REAL deal. I graduated back in 2014 and finally passed my NCLEX exam May 2017, three years later! I was starting to give up on myself, exhausting all my options, feeling depressed, and hearing it from everyone, “When will you pass?” or “Are you even studying?” Being diagnosed with dyslexia sure didn’t make things any easier. It was only then, when God sent me an angel, Justine, to tutor me is when everything started to make sense. I’m not too sure how many sessions I had done but all I know is that every cent I paid was 100% worth it. Don’t get me wrong, you can’t just show up and expect her to do all the work, you have to put in the time. I did 75 questions a day (on Uworld) and reviewed for a good 4 to 5 hours. I also bought the new Saunders book and went over the chapters Justine assigned. My test scores were in the low 40-45 range but towards the end it jumped to an average of 65. My advice is to find out what works for you to retain content because this is very important. For me, it was watching videos and taking notes. Watching and listening to Justine’s webinars really helped a lot. Don’t give up because like me, you will get that PASS on your test with the help of Justine. “To whomever may be researching a tutor-
          I am not the type of guy for writing reviews, look at my amazon account, a billion purchases and no reviews! BUT, I passed my NCLEX recently, thanks in LARGE part to Ms. Justine Buick.
          I had a solid knowledge base that I did not necessarily believe in. I had hired a tutor before Justine and failed the NCLEX in 265 questions. We studied a TON of content, reviewing 200+ questions a week, 50 or so with the tutor, then 150+ I was “assigned” during the week. Brutal and demoralized would be how I describe those 5+ hours of testing after all that studying.
I have quite intense test anxiety, so having gotten that far, I felt that may be the closest I ever get to passing, and it was hard to see the positive in the situation. I did not want to hire another tutor as it obviously hadn’t worked previously.
          My Dad did a LOT of research and came to me with Justine’s website and description of her approach. Her approach was different, not in a negative way, but in a way that made me think it may work. It was more test strategy based as opposed to content based. We have ALL gotten through nursing school somehow, right? So why review content since a lot of the NCLEX is very new and likely never covered in school. The testing strategy is key, not the content.
          Like I said, I had doubts about my content knowledge going into my sessions with Justine, but they were quickly put to rest. I passed the NCLEX in the minimum 75 questions after 7 quick sessions with Justine. After each session I got a recap and feel for where we stand. Before my NCLEX she let me know whether I was ready or not; hint- I was ready.
          It is nice to be proved wrong about something that can really debilitate your life- Like failing the biggest exam of your life. NOTHING matches the feeling on conquering that negativity. And this is from a guy who doesn’t tend to write reviews. Considering I changed my life by hiring Justine, and now the world is my oyster… I would do it again, knowing that my stress level would be much much better, and knowing that I CAN conquer seemingly impossible tasks.
          Now, I have less hypertension worries since my heart rate and blood pressure are back down to normal levels. Don’t do that to yourselves. If you find yourself on this page LOOKING for a tutor, you are like me… Don’t hesitate, ease your mind, hire someone to help conquer this road block in front of your chosen career. There is no shame in getting help from time to time. I wish I thought like that a long time ago. YOU can pass the exam, you just may need some tweaking. Get that friendly nudge, that little bit of help before you pay for the exam numerous times. Get that blood pressure and sense of accomplishment sooner. Justine WILL help, and be very honest and forthcoming from the get go. Help yourself. Good luck to anyone reading this. You can and will get there. Enjoy the career you have ahead!

“I finished nursing school December of 2013, I was so excited to have finished and finally was getting ready to take the NCLEX – RN. I studied my butt off went to take the test and came out of the testing center knowing that I did not pass. Went home did the Person vue trick which went straight to the credit card page I was devastated and I refused to believe it so I waited until I got my results and it said “FAILED”. This went on for another three times with the same results, nothing had changed except for the amount of questions that I would receive and now its 2016. After the failure of my fourth attempt my sister tired of me crying on the phone to her did some research and called me with her plan. “Justine Buick, the NCLEX tutor” I went online and looked her up, her pass rate was awesome and there was testimonials on her site from people like me. So I had my sister contact her,Justine was so nice to work with she taught me the correct way of looking at NCLEX questions and she worked with my availability. “When I was given Justine’s name I had failed the NCLEX multiple times at 76 questions and at 265 and I had also been out of school for about three years. My confidence was practically non-existent.
